Our swords are primarily made from 5160 High Carbon Spring Steel. We do our own heat treating and tempering. Swords are tempered to 52 degrees on the C scale. They are forged to shape and then ground to final size and shape. We use natural hardwoods from all over the world.
Two Handed Thrusting Sword
This Thrusting sword has an Kingwood handle and steel fittings. The blade is 35 1/4 inches long and 2 1/8 inches wide, tapering to 5/8 inches 2 inches from the point. The overall length is 44 1/4 inches long. The weight of the sword is 2 lbs. 14 ozs and the POB is 4 inches from the guard. The 8 3/4 inch guard and 2-inch wheel pommel are 1018 steel. This sword has a gorgeous custom sheath created by my wife, Trena. The blade is not sharpened right now, but we will sharpen it for free if you want. Please allow a few extra days for this to happen.
