Our swords are primarily made from 5160 High Carbon Spring Steel. We do our own heat treating and tempering. Swords are tempered to 52 degrees on the C scale. They are forged to shape and then ground to final size and shape. For the handles, we use natural hardwoods from all over the world.
Single Hand Arming Sword with Fuller w/ sheath
This Arming Sword has a 30 1/2-inch blade. The overall length is 37 inches. The blade is 2 inches wide tapering to 1 1/2 inches wide, two inches from the point. The 7-inch guard and 2 1/4-inch wheel pommel are brass. This blade also features a 26-inch long, 5/8-inch wide fuller from the guard towards the point. The POB is 6 inches in front of the guard and the sword weighs 2 lbs 15.8 ozs. The handle is Bocote. This sword has no sheath, but a custom sheath can be made for it by my wife, Trena, for an additional fee. Contact us if you would like a sheath made. The blade is not sharpened right now, but we will sharpen it for free if you want. Please allow a few extra days for this to happen.
