Our knives are made primarily out of 1084 or 1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. They are hardened typically to 57 - 59 degrees on the C scale. I prefer natural materials over synthetic materials for handles. I do make my own mosaic pins, generally based on patterns I have seen.

This blade is made of 1084 High Carbon Spring Steel. The blade is 6.25 inches long, 1.125 inches wide, and 0.25 inches thick. The overall length is 11.31 inches, and the weight is 7.7 ounces. The handle is made of Red Palm scales and the pins are brass. It has a beautiful custom leather sheath made by my lovely wife, Trena. The weight of the knife in the sheath is 10.8 ounces.
