Our knives are made primarily out of 1084 or 1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. They are hardened typically to 57 - 59 degrees on the C scale. I prefer natural materials over synthetic materials for handles. I do make my own mosaic pins, generally based on patterns I have seen.

This blade is made of 1084 High Carbon Spring Steel. The blade is 4.5 inches long, 1.25 inches wide, and 0.25 inches thick. The overall length is 9 inches, and the weight is 8.2 ounces. The handle is made of Wenge scales and the pins are brass. It has a beautiful custom leather sheath made by my lovely wife, Trena. The weight of the knife in the sheath is 11.4 ounces.
